Exergetic Systems Limited was founded in 2008 with the acquisition of European patents and trade name from Exergetic Systems, LLC (a California company). As an investment firm, we see tremendous potential in the "Input/Loss" technology, a technology which allows the thermodynamic understanding of solid-fueled power plants. For example, Input/Loss allows coal-fired power plants to become more efficient and thus to reduce their carbon footprint. The system forces understanding of power plants: from fuel flow and calorific value, to Economiser thermal losses, to turbine efficiencies, to accurate and consistent emission flows. 

The company's revenue is derived from licensing the Input/Loss Method and related technology as the Method is applied to the monitoring of power plants. As protected intellectual property, our policy is to actively litigate both the infringement of our patents and the defense of any and all Oppositions to our European patents.

Although there are no corporate ties with Exergetic Systems LLC, we have consulting access to the principle inventor of Input/Loss, Fred (Fritz) Lang, and have rights to future European patents and applications.
